Johannes has more than 6 years of experience in strategy consulting. He worked as a project manager, was part of the recruiting and training team, and mentored dozens of interns and junior consultants personally and several thousands online through social media.
But it wasn’t always like this. When he set the goal to have a consulting career, Johannes didn’t study management, he wasn’t the best in his class, had no practical consulting experience and no business skills.
But then he changed. To learn as much as possible about consulting, he started to do two degrees at the same time, reading 2 business books per week, invested thousands of dollars in skill & case prep courses, joined consulting clubs, did several consulting internships, and founded his own consultancy.
And the work payed off. He received very good evaluations during internships, got offers for top consulting firms, and got on the promotion fast track and able to earn >250k per year. All this, while also having a healthy work life balance.
Now, he dedicates his time to help you to learn all the skills that you need to have a successful consulting career and earn more than 250k per year while having a healthy work life balance.

2. SCREENING CALL
You will receive a call from Johannes to have a brief interview. Here we want to get to know you personally and to understand if and how we can help you the best possible way. The call is typically around 15min long.
3. ASSESSMENT CALL
If there is a fit, then we will invite you to the free career & skill assessment. Here, we take a close look at your situation and develop a concrete plan to take your consulting career to the next level. This typically lasts 90 min.

Johannes Nyari
Founder & head coach
Johannes is the founder and head coach of Mastering Consulting. He has more than 6 years of experience in strategy consulting and previously worked as a project manager & freelancer. He worked for firms such as Stern Stewart & Co., Commerzbank Business Consulting, Horvath & Partners and KPMG.
He is an expert in the field of consulting skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Financial Modeling, Strategic Analyses, ...), career management (career planning, application processes, case prep, ...), and life management (work life balance, personell development, bio hacking, ...).
In the past, he has worked with dozens of people to get into consulting, to get promoted and to live a healthy work life balance. His mentees worked for firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, EY, PwC, Deloitte, and many more.
As head coach, Johannes is responsible for the program content and leads the majority of the coaching sessions.
